Our enrolment policy

Montrose is licensed to accept children from birth to five years of age, plus children from six to 12 years of age in the before and after school program. Children that turn six years old while in our care may remain with us provided they begin kindergarten at Montrose Public School in September of that same year. Spaces are offered as they become available, based on a waiting list with the following priorities:

• Children of teen parents enrolled in a Toronto District School Board
• Siblings of children already enrolled in the Centre
• Children of staff
• Children of subsidized/full-fee parents from the community

The first three have equal priority based on the date the application is received.

The following information about your child will be required upon enrolment

• Personal data (name, age, address…).
• Name, address, telephone number of family doctor.
• Completed health form and immunization record.
• Explanation of any chronic health conditions, allergies, restrictions, medications or treatments.
